• RedBull Racing meets MRGRPA

A few months ago I received a phone call from a mate, turns out that RedBull Racing needed a tuff VL for an upcoming TV commercial.. Natural choice, since we just so happen to have 1800+hp worth of Blown big block in a genuine VL Group A within arms reach most of the time.

We had an awesome day filming with the drivers, SVG, JW and Lowndesy around the streets of the Gold Coast, I'll never forget the sound of cranky blown big block Chev with open pipes bouncing off the buildings down Cavill Ave in the heart of Surfers!

If you haven't already seen it, you better check it out!

  • Winter Stock round 1

After selling out of every hoody and pair of trackies at Brashernats in Sydney on the June long weekend, we've finally re-stocked our online store with plenty of both!

The original Club Hoody is back, our most popular by far. Zip up with front, back and arm prints, it never fails to sell!

The Monstr Custom hoody is also selling quickly, a Graffiti style logo on the front keeps things simple and a bit different to what we've done in the past.

Our original style trackies were always super popular! We've made the print slightly bigger, other than that they are still available in the Grey or Ashphalt Marle colours.

Make sure you head over to our Outerwear section and check them out!

  • Rumour has it that the crazy blown, tubbed and tuff as nails Charade Burnout car is getting a bit of a makeover for this weekends Triple Challenge at Sydney Dragway.

Known for its Smurfy Colour, but not so Smurfy personality, the boys at Platinum Automotive Smash Repairs have snuck the Charade into the shop and aiming to get it all done for this weekends burnout event.

The owner Corey is a bit short, not blue, but certainly knows how to steer the car, with big tip ins and high speed donuts.. Keep an eye out for him this weekend if you go, and keep an eye out for the new Monstr Clothing van, we will have plenty of cool clothes for sale!

Anyone not going, hit the New Products tab and check out some of the cool new shirts we've just added, get in quick before Christmas!

Here's a vid of the Smurf at Brashernats earlier this year, turn it up loud!

  • Feature Car - MON5TR VL Walkinshaw

Getting out of the passenger seat after a blast around the track in the huge single turbo'd OVK253 was reason enough to start the ball rolling with a new project.

Starting off with a slightly rundown HSV Walkinshaw, Dan from D Street Designs in Windsor set about modifying the rear end of the car to suit the massive 22 x 12 inch Simmons, as well as an unbreakable 9inch diff, huge 8 piston brakes and installing coilovers in the front so the 22s fit on the pointy end as well.

The trim was freshened up by Scheel Australia, making sure that the inside looked as good as Justin from Obsession Paint and Panel had the outside after he tidied the paint up

The car was sent up to the Gold Coast, to Hi-Torque performance where they built the 408 cubic inch cast iron LS engine, added some bits like the huge Precision Promod turbo, Shauns Custom Alloy intake manifold, a bulletproof Protrans box, along with plenty of other cool bits like the Motec computer. They wired, plumbed, polished and made everything spot on.

Finished just shy of Motorex this year, the car was driven off the dyno into the trailer, after making an easy 1000+rwhp.

The car gets plenty of street time, including doing a few mates weddings, powercruise etc.
